New Drill for Anime sessions fail in predictable ways: players ignore codes, buy cosmetic fluff, level every common unit equally, or open lucky blocks before the drill can reach better layers. This checklist stores a simple priority order in your browser so you can resume after dinner without re-reading an entire guide.

Why this order exists

1. Finish tutorial prompts

The tutorial unlocks UI you will need for redeem fields, unit placement, and shop tabs. Skipping it creates “missing codes menu” confusion that is sometimes just an unfinished onboarding state.

2. Claim tracked codes

Free cash and lucky blocks compress hours of grinding. Copy strings from the Codes Copier and redeem with How to Redeem Codes. If the menu is missing, verify on Discord before you rage-quit — see the disputed notes on the Codes hub.

3. Buy a meaningful drill upgrade

Depth and dig speed gate every other system. A stronger unit cannot help if you never reach the layer where it matters. Details live in Drill Upgrades.

4. Level your best rarity unit

Concentrate early cash on the highest rarity you own instead of sprinkling upgrades across commons. Framework thinking is in Best Characters and Rarity Guide.

5. Open lucky blocks with intent

Blocks are variance engines. Read Lucky Blocks so you know whether to open now or wait until drill power can exploit a lucky spike.

6. Set an offline habit

Before logout, glance at the Offline Earnings Estimator. Idle cash is part of the fantasy Nomel Studios shipped on 26 June 2026 — use it deliberately.

Cash budgeting examples

Treat free code cash as seed money, not fireworks. A practical split after redeeming EPIC looks like this:

1. Forty percent into the cheapest drill upgrade that raises dig speed or depth.
2. Forty percent into your highest rarity income unit.
3. Twenty percent reserved for a lucky block decision or emergency refill if a fight drains you.

If you only hold LUCK26, do not idle through the boost. Push depth while the multiplier is live, then return to the checklist steps you skipped. Temporary multipliers punish players who stand still in the lobby.

When to break the order

Break the sequence only with a reason you can explain in one sentence:

• You already own a high rarity unit and the next drill upgrade is absurdly expensive relative to a single unit level that doubles income.
• Discord just announced a limited lucky-block event and delaying opens would waste the window — still skim Lucky Blocks first.
• Your redeem UI is confirmed missing on the current build; skip codes, keep drilling, and watch How to Get More Codes.

Random shop curiosity is not a reason.

Once the checklist is green, switch to pace guides:

• Earn Faster for active grind loops
• Controls if input lag makes drilling miserable
• Updates after a patch rearranges shop prices

Do not restart the checklist from zero every day forever. After your first solid economy, treat it as a warm-up for alts or friends you are coaching.

Common anti-patterns this list prevents

• Spending EPIC cash on the first sparkly shop item
• Opening every block while dig speed is still starter-tier
• Ignoring offline earnings until “later”
• Following Brainrots upgrade trees in the wrong game
• Installing scripts because the shop felt slow — read Scripts first
